10th anniversary of the Mozart Children's Orchestra of the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg
Last concert within the Mozart Week 2023
On February 5, the anniversary concert of the Mozart Children's Orchestra of the Mozarteum Foundation, also Young Ambassador of the European Mozart Ways, took place in the "Great Hall of the Mozarteum Foundation". At this concert the youngest members united with the already outgrown former musicians of the Children's Orchestra. And also the conductors of a decade passed the baton to each other on this occasion: Sanja Brankovic, Christoph Koncz and Peter Manning have accompanied the Children's Orchestra on their way. The two soloists Alexander Paulweber (horn) and Andreas Pihusch (violin) also came from their own ranks this year. Rolando Villazón led through the enjoyable afternoon.

A great celebration of music and reunion. Downer according to the press release Salzburger Nachrichten of February 4, the project Mozart Children's Orchestra of the Mozarteum Foundation will not be continued at the end of the season 22/23 for cost reasons.
