23rd General Assembly of the European Mozart Ways 2025

February 3 at the Mozarteum University

The 23rd General Assembly of the European Mozart Ways took place in Salzburg at the Mozarteum University. Rector Elisabeth Gutjahr welcomed the members present and pointed out the common goal of continuing Mozart’s legacy. Twelve representatives of the members were present in person or online and 10 were represented by proxy. In the first part “Along the statutes”, the Board of Directors, the treasurer and the auditors reported on the activities in 2024, the financial report and the audit as of January 21, 2025. Members present reported on their activities in 2024 with an outlook for 2025.

A highlight of the session was the final concert of the “Mozart Sing-Along” project at the Solitär. The basis for this was the Mozart children’s songbook produced by the European Mozart Ways. Mozart children’s songbook. The concept of involving school classes and performing songs together is a wonderful way of familiarizing children with Mozart’s music and giving them the opportunity to express themselves in a creative way.

The Mozart Scavenger Hunt was also a fun and interactive way for children to learn more about Mozart’s life and works. The event can be streamed at the following link. The members were also informed about the current status of the ongoing Erasmus+ project “NEXT ROUTES” and the evaluation of the European Mozart Routes by the Council of Europe. The afternoon was dedicated to the future of the European Mozart Ways. Possible new projects and work packages were outlined.
