In the footsteps of Mozart - Salzburg Choirs in Vicenza and Padua

Coro Amadeo, Young Ambassadors of the European Mozart Ways, is made up of the lower and upper school choirs of the Borromäum and the BAfEP Salzburg. Together with students and graduates of the Mozarteum University as well as teachers and pupils of both schools, Mozart's Requiem will be the focus of a school project in 2023.

In this project, 170 children and young people will study Mozart's Requiem and perform it in April in Vicenza (Cathedral) and Padua (Cathedral).

On 5 May 2023, the choir will perform the Requiem for Salzburg in the Great Hall of the University of Salzburg, drawing on the formative impressions of their "little Mozart tour of Italy".

In a separate introductory project, the young choristers will get to know the work from different perspectives, depending on their age group. This is done in close cooperation with institutions of the Mozarteum Foundation.
