European Mozart Ways reconfirmed as Cultural Route of the Council of Europe

The European Mozart Ways have once again been officially certified as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, a distinction the network has held since 2004. As the only Cultural Route dedicated to music, the EMW connects cities and institutions across ten countries that Wolfgang Amadé Mozart visited during his life.

This renewed recognition highlights EMW’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural exchange, promoting sustainable tourism, and celebrating Europe’s shared musical heritage. The certification is valid for five years and places EMW among 47 Cultural Routes that showcase the diversity and richness of European identity.
