LATINO MOZART
Fiery rhythms in association with Mozart
September 27 - 29
Mozart and music from Latin America can be combined with nonchalance, as Latino Mozart demonstrated last year. The Orquesta Iberacademy Medellín and the Havana Lyceum Orchestra from South America, whose passionate joy of playing is always infectious, played a decisive role in its success. Together with the Bolívar Soloists and internationally renowned artists such as Keri-Lynn Wilson, Avi Avital and artistic director Rolando Villazón, they take the audience on a sonorous journey through Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil - with detours to Italy and the Ukraine.
In addition to fiery rhythms, you can expect a world premiere and classical music from South America, a flash mob on Hanuschplatz, children’s concerts, a reading from Mozart’s letters and salsa clubbing with DJ Jhonny.
