Heidelberg

Mozart's stay: ca. 25.7. 1763 - 9.12.1788

The Mozarts arrived in Heidelberg from Schwetzingen on 25 (?) July 1763. Maria Anna (Nannerl) Mozart writes in her travel notes: "Heidelberg, the castle, the wallpaper factory and the silk factory, the big barrel and the well from which the lord of the manor draws water:" The Mozarts stay at the inn "Zu den drei Königen" at Hauptstrasse 160 (today 158). The inn no longer exists. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart plays the organ in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Heidelberg.

On 9 December 1778, Wolfgang travels with the imperial prelate Celestin Angelsprugger from Mannheim via Heidelberg to Kaisheim.
