Mozart Contained!
Mozarteum University
The project was conceived and developed by two students of the Mozarteum University, Anna-Sophie Ofner and Hanna Schmaderer, and technically realised by the FH Salzburg and Research Studios Austria FG.
Mozart Contained! aims to take Mozart out of concert halls and opera houses - not in the form of a tastefully packaged golden sphere, but in the form of containers. The idea is to create a space in which Mozart can be experienced and perceived in a completely new way.
The experiment, funded by the University Mozarteum as part of the inter-university project Spot on MozART, is an interactive musical experience that combines people and technology, and in which the visitor becomes an actor. Two containers have been used so far. In one, the Dissonance Quartet, KV 465, and in the second, the Rondo in A minor, KV 511.
