Piacenza
Mozart's stays: 16 - 24 March 1770 / 16(?) October 1770
During their first trip to Italy (Dec. 1769 - end of March 1771), father and son Mozart passed through Piacenza between 16 and 24 March 1770 on their journey from Milan to Bologna. On their return journey from Bologna to Milan (16 October 1770), the Mozarts came to Piacenza again.
The most remarkable event during their first stay was a visit to the Opera, where they heard the three most important Italian voices of the time called Carlo Broschi Farinelli, Giovanni Carestini and Francesca Cuzzoni Sandoni. The concert began at 10 o'clock in the evening and lasted until 4 o'clock in the morning.
