Mozart Songs for Children

A Songbook for Children Aged 6-12

With this songbook, the European Mozart Ways aim to introduce classical music to children aged 6 to 12. The purpose of singing together is to inspire the children's creativity. This songbook is a part of the "Young Mozart Ways" project, a network-wide initiative.

This compilation of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart's songs, canons, arias, and duets features both celebrated and obscure melodies. It was a delight to create this edition, and I trust Mozart enthusiasts of all ages will find it enjoyable. Our objective was to amalgamate even the most intricate compositions into a single version suitable for home or school performances. (Stefan David Hummel / Mozarteum University)

The project was implemented with the financial backing of the City & Region of Salzburg and Forum Volkskultur.

Italian and English versions are scheduled for release in 2024 and will be accessible for download on the website of the European Mozart Ways.
