Special exhibition Time Travel in Mozart’s Wohnhaus September 6 - December 31, 2024

Time Travel is an exciting exhibition project as part of the Capital of Culture 2024, which makes a stop in the city of Mozart. The exhibition was shown from May to August at Grundlsee. In the Time Travel project, contemporary photo artists comment on and interpret historical photographs from the Salzkammergut as well as from the archives of the Mozarteum Foundation and the collections of the Mozart museums, creating connections between tradition and cliché concerning the Salzkammergut and Mozart as a tourist magnet, thus opening up new perspectives on the topics of tourism and Mozart between tradition, innovation, sustainable cultural work and marketing. The exhibition in Mozart’s house has been expanded for Salzburg with exciting positions.
