VenEthos Ensemble

In the association, the Veneto region is represented by the VenEthos Ensemble.  The quartet was founded in 2016 in Treviso by four musicians united not only by a long-standing friendship, but also by a common desire to reinterpret the quartet repertoire of the 18th and 19th centuries on original instruments. The name refers both to the country of origin of the four members, and in particular to the great Venetian string tradition, and to the "ethos" of Greek philosophy, according to which music influences the psyche and emotions of people. The VenEthos Ensemble plays four instruments made by the violin maker Franco Simeoni.
