“On the way to Mozart”
Young Mozart Ways / start 2014
How can the person of W.A. Mozart, his life and work, as well as his European-influenced personality be made tangible and tangible for children and young people? The European Mozart Ways have developed several school projects especially for this target group and have successfully implemented them in recent years. In all projects, the young people are to come into direct contact with artists, musicologists and Mozart experts on site.
The following projects have been developed within the framework of the children and youth programme:
“moving with Mozart”
Along the "European Mozart Routes", children's and youth choirs or children's and youth orchestras that also have Mozart works in their repertoire are appointed "Young Ambassadors of the European Mozart Routes". School choir "Amadeo" Salzburg/Austria, 2014.

Boys' choir "Les Pastoureaux", Waterloo/Belgium, 2016

BELLA MUSICA - Orchestra Giovanile Europea, Salzburg/Austria, 2017
The orchestra is a project of the Pre-College Salzburg of the Mozarteum University. Young students from Austria, Italy and Germany meet to rehearse chamber music and orchestral works together and present them on concert tours in Austria and abroad. Mozart Children's Orchestra Mozarteum Foundation, Salzburg/Austria, 2018
The Mozart Children's Orchestra of the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg: these are around 60 young musicians between the ages of seven and thirteen who delight their audiences with playful charm, liveliness and the fun of making music. (https://mozarteum.at/projekte/?project=mozart-kinderorchester)
Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Ukraine, 2021
The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is a unique project that brings together and promotes young talented musicians aged 12 to 22 from all parts of Ukraine.
“there is more to Mozart” - Video/Film
Pupils aged 10 - 18 years produce video productions with musical and scenic performances dealing with Mozart's personality, his experiences in the European cities and places he lived in and travelled to, as well as his impact and possible relevance for young people today.

“Mozart stories / Mozart - Geschichten”
Pupils from the age of 8 are encouraged to write stories about W.A. Mozart and his family from their own point of view and thus create a young image of his life.
Realisation so far:
Obertrum primary school in cooperation with the Salzburg House of Literature and the Mozarteum Foundation (2018).
“Mozart Class”
Upper school classes, mostly from the field of music, set a project focus on W.A. Mozart. The Mozart history on site is reviewed and expanded and deepened by visiting other Mozart sites.

Mozart classes in Salzburg, Vienna, Augsburg and Munich
